Sleep tips for great hair in the morning
Have you ever wondered how you can have better hair in the morning? Or how do you wake up and not worry about your hair? Well, I have you covered. And it all starts with how you prepare for bed.
Protective styling
protective styling before bed is the number one way to protect your hair from that pillow at night. Using a satin or silk scrunchie in a messy bun or braids for medium to long hair will provide great hair the next day. A sleep bonnet is also a great way to get some protection for short hair. Protective styling is essential for my extension wearers. Your hair must be secured to prevent damage from the extensions while sleeping.
Your pillowcase matters
Ditch the cotton pillowcases for silk or satin. Not only does it help your hair to stay prettier in the morning, but it also prevents the cotton from drying out your hair. Your face will also say "thank you" for the same non-drying reasons as your hair.
Ensuring you prepare for bed and use a suitable pillowcase will make your morning hair much more accessible. If you still struggle in the morning, let’s chat when you come in for your appointment.
